Spectacular variety of walking tracks in the region. Ranging in length and difficulty. Amazing views of the valley and vast expanse of the Blue Mountains. Take water, limited facilities along the way.
Spectacular and I've done it many times and wood recommend it.
Combined with the National Pass, this is one of the best walks in the world.
Decent track, but not the greatest thing around Katoomba. Not very difficult, three hours for lower intermediate hikers. Empress falls is very very crowded.
Defenitely a recommeded spot. As you admire the landscape while walking down to reach the waterfall, make sure you have some water and your swimming short on! You can then dive in the little pool at the bottom of the waterfall and also do few jumps ! Lots of fun !!
