Nice views but could be very hot during summer
This really is a wonderful place to run or do some walking. There are fantastic views of the cliff faces in the Blue Mountains and even a beautiful waterfall off in the distance. Definitely worth a visit.
One of my favorite hikes in the blue mountains. Its not too long and relatively easy and the view at the end are absolutely stunning. It would be useful to have a 4WD car to get here as the last few kms are on gravel road. It also gets quite windy towards the end of this hike so a windbreaker would be a good idea. Lots of nice wildflowers blooming along the trail in winter.
Amazing walk. Access is via an unsealed road for about 8km so it's better suited for 4WD (still made it in a hatchback though). Great views of the mountains and walk is via an easy path. There's a few rocky parts and might not be suitable for kids. Definitely recommend!!
The Car park is small with room for around 10 cars. A 30 second walk into the trail gets you to a point where you can watch the sun rise over the lower mountains. The trail enters the wilderness where the trail is not maintained. It hiking is mostly easy going with low graded hills and only a few short tricky sections. The veiws are amazing that will make you gasp wow! Spring is full of wild flowers. Bring a camera to capture this amazing walk or leave it at home to be at one with nature!
